Emmanuel Nyantee
Hello Emmanuel!
The only solid booking I have so far is a talk at the Modern Language Association in Philadelphia, late December. See my sidebar for ‘Upcoming Events’. I’ll post there when the next one comes up. What country are you in?
I saw a brilliant piece of animation at your talk at power to the pixel of a space scene and i think it had to do with story development can you tell me where it came from
Hello Richard!
I showed this animation at the beginning of my talk to illustrate the variety of new cross-media practices out there: http://www.australiacouncil.gov.au/writersguide/newwritinguniverse/. It is my data, with animation done by an Australian company for the Australian Literature Board http://www.australiacouncil.gov.au/writersguide. Other than that, I have my slides online here, in which you can see my pics on story documentation: http://www.slideshare.net/christydena/lessons-learned-in-crossmedia.
Hope that helps!
By the way, love the name of your company too

It was fantastic having you on the Slamdance Filmmaker Summit panel. Looking forward to meeting you in person.
Paul
Awesome. Thanks Paul. I really enjoyed the day and look forward to meeting you in person too!
Dear Christy,
I am a script-writer from Hamburg, Germany and have just started to explore the world of writing for games and transmedia storytelling. Just wanted to let you know that I love your website and your work, especially the slide show you did at reboot and the collection of games for game designers! I wish I knew more people (especially women) like you closer to home for networking and inspiration!
Take care
Hello Maike,
Thank you! I’m thrilled my work has inspired you.
I wish you all the best with your own creative practice and hope one day we get to meet!
Please feel free to email if you ever would like to talk further.
All the best,
Christy
Hello Christy,
You might be interested in seeing trancemedia.eu – we just started it . We try to raise awareness among independent producers about new transmedia factual content.
Thank you in advance for your possible suggestions.
All the best,
Claudio
Hi Christy
I had the pleasure of seeing you speak at the Jon Reiss lecturer in Melbourne last week, I was the camera operator for Jon on the day. I really enjoyed your talk and want to see more.
I have a couple of request, if at all possible, I am undertaking my MA in Research and my topic is ‘How has interactive multi-platform changed the way documentary filmmakers are approaching their craft’. My final findings and research will be in the form of a website, and I will be making an online documentary about how to make an online documentary.
Firstly I would like to ask you if I could interview you for the online doco and secondly could I engage your services in working with me on the website. I understand their will be a fee involved for your services and I will need to budget for this. If at all possible would you be able to provide me with a rough estimate of what that may be.
I am undertaking my MA as AFTRS and hope to deliver my findings in 2012. I am currently scoping and researching all aspects that I belived need to be covered.
Congratulations on the completion of youf phD and can only imagine what you went through and what I am about to undertake. I am really excited about this project, at the moment, not sure things my change, am hoping not. I am also excited at the prospect of meeting with you and talking further if you have time in your hectic schedule.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards Atalanti

Dear Christy Dena,
I have just started my research (for my dissertation on the MA Interactive media, London college of communication, UAL, London) on how alternate reality games and transmedia practices can engage the public in a museum (educational) context, I have seen your research on transmedia practices and probably there is no better person to speak for this subject apart from you.
Would you be able to arrange either an interview in order to answer together some of the questions that came up or maybe if this is not possible to provide me any relevant material that might be helpfull?
Thank you in advance,
Hara Mihailidou
Hello Hara – there are a few people who are looking at the educational area of transmedia! So you’re not alone.
There is a Transmedia and Education group that has just started in Facebook – if you’re in FB let me know and I’ll add you to the group. Also if you google transmedia you’ll see many people come up, including some great posts by Jeff Watson. Otherwise, you can contact me directly too (christy@christydena.com) and we can chat. Yay! Best, Christy
