LAMP, the cross-media lab in Australia I’ve been a mentor with, has announced the latest teams that will be attending the next residential in July. I pulled out of this residential because I’ve got study committments, but they’ve got three very worthy newcomers: the amazing Shiralee Saul. I was lucky to teach with Shiralee at Melb Uni last year and she commissioned me to do some writing for her at the ABC. She is one of the most experienced new media arts practitioners, curator and educator in Australia. Truly. And Jim Shomos, who is the creator of the first mobile soap to be delivered over mobile, web and TV simultaneously in Australia! Go Jim!The immensely experienced and intelligent Jonathan Marshall returns and so too does the ever-canny Keren Flavell. Good luck to the teams. You’ll have a ball. I wish for you a pleasant mind-blowing experience. hehe
